White good items must be placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. To schedule a collection of a white good item, kindly contact our office at (630) 261-0578 during regular business hours. The following items are considered white goods: refrigerators, stoves, washers, dishwashers, freezers, dryers, hot water tanks, air conditioners and furnaces. ![]() There is no charge for the collection of white good items. The following items are considered bulk items: mattresses, box springs, tables, chairs, bookcases and other furniture. There is a charge per bulk item contact Flood Brothers at (630) 261-0578 for an estimate on your items. Bulk Item Collectionīulk items are collected on your regularly scheduled collection day. Collection of holiday greenery the third week of January or after, will be billed as a bulk pick-up charge on your next invoice. Holiday greenery collection and pickup is FREE OF CHARGE the first two full weeks in January. Holiday greenery must have all tinsel, ornaments, lights and nails removed before being placed out at the curb for pickup. Friday customers will be serviced on Saturday.įlood Brothers will not collect on the following holidays: If a holiday falls on a weekday or a Sunday, and your regularly scheduled pickup is on or after the holiday, your pickup will be delayed by one day. All yard waste items placed at the curb for collection after Thanksgiving through the end of November require a yard waste sticker. Bushes placed at the curb must have a yard waste sticker affixed to them. Bushes cannot weigh more than 50 pounds and cannot be longer than four feet or wider than two feet in diameter. Each bundle must be affixed with one yard waste sticker. Branches/Brush Collectionīranches need to be in bundles no longer than four feet and no larger than two feet in diameter. Leaf stickers ARE NOT REQUIRED to dispose of leaves during this week! Please leave containers free of lids for easy identification.Īll other types of yard waste set out at the curb during this week must have a yard waste sticker. Leaves placed at curbside cannot be mixed with other types of yard waste such as grass, sod or twigs and branch material or the load will be rejected for pick-up. Residents may place an unlimited amount of leaves in commercial yard waste bags or standard 33-gallon refuse containers for collection at no charge. No yard waste will be collected without the proper stickers affixed to your bags or cans.įREE FALL leaf collection will be during Thanksgiving week, beginning on the Monday before Thanksgiving and continuing through the Friday after the holiday. Do not use fall leaf stickers for regular grass clippings, as they will not be collected. The leaf sticker collection schedule is the last 3 weeks of October and into November. Fall Leaf Collectionĭiscounted leaf stickers must be affixed to yard waste bags or 32-gallon cans containing only leaves. December 1 – April 1: compost facilities are closed and yard waste is to be placed in general refuse containers. Yard waste bags or cans must have a yard waste sticker affixed to them and cannot weigh more than 50 pounds. Residents may place all yard waste in yard waste paper bags or 32-gallon cans. Yard Waste Collectionīegins First Full Week in April, Ends the Last Pickup Day of November *Residents unable to purchase yard waste stickers due to COVID-19 must call the Flood Brothers office with pickup requests 24 hours in advance to request yard waste removal. Kindly contact the Flood Brothers' office to replace a broken or worn toter. Any Flood Brothers toter that is damaged will be replaced free of charge. There is an additional toter rental charge for this service per month. If you wish to use this service, please contact our office at (630) 261-0578. Flood Brothers offers a 95-gallon toter for the use of refuse collection. There is NO CAN LIMIT as to the quantity of refuse you may place at the curb. Refuse/Garbage Collection Refuse must be properly containerized in bags or cans, not to exceed a 50-pound weight limit. Yard waste must be separated and properly containerized. REMINDER: Please DO NOT mix yard waste with your regular garbage, it WILL NOT be collected. If you fail to place your garbage, recycling or yard waste at the curb on your scheduled day, our driver will return the following week. Drivers call our office by radio and advise us of the houses that do not have their refuse out. All items for collection must be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m.
